Our solutions

GridAerial runs the full pipeline — capture, processing and the insights layer that sits on top of it.

The workflow

Deploy. Digitize. Decide.

01
Deploy

Certified operator crews mobilise to site with mission-planned flight paths, calibrated sensors and stringent airspace protocols.

02
Digitize

Raw capture flows into our pipeline — orthomosaics, point clouds, thermal, multispectral — cleaned, aligned and geo-referenced.

03
Decide

Analytics surface what matters: defects, deviations, hotspots and trends — delivered as reports and dashboards operators can act on.

Aerial Surveys & Mapping

High-resolution aerial imagery, orthomosaics and accurate 3D models for sites and corridors.

  • Mission-planned flights with consistent altitude, overlap and ground sampling distance, so every repeat capture is comparable.
  • Survey-grade positioning with ground control where accuracy matters, giving measurable distances, areas and levels.
  • Orthomosaics, digital surface and terrain models, and contour outputs delivered in standard GIS and CAD formats.
  • Corridor mapping for transmission lines, fibre routes and access roads, captured in a single flight window.

Infrastructure Inspection

Thermal and visual inspection that surfaces defects, hotspots and structural issues safely.

  • Radiometric thermal capture for solar strings, transformers and joints — hotspots, diode failures and disconnected panels flagged with temperature deltas.
  • High-zoom visual inspection of towers, masts, insulators and antennas, with no climbing teams or shutdowns required.
  • Every finding tagged with location, severity and a reference image, so field crews know exactly where to go.
  • Defect registers that carry forward between visits, showing what was fixed and what is worsening.

Data Processing & Models

Geo-referenced point clouds, volumetrics and site models prepared for practical use.

  • Photogrammetric processing into dense point clouds, textured meshes and 3D site models.
  • Stockpile and earthworks volumetrics with stated methodology and comparison against previous periods or design surfaces.
  • Coordinate reference systems matched to your existing project data, so outputs drop straight into your workflow.
  • Clean, documented deliverables — raw capture archived, processed layers versioned and labelled.

Monitoring & Intelligence

Progress, crop health and asset trends translated into reports operators can act on.

  • Repeat capture on an agreed cadence — weekly, monthly or quarterly — flown to the same plan each time.
  • Change detection between periods: construction progress, vegetation encroachment, erosion, panel soiling and site expansion.
  • Multispectral crop health indices for agriculture, mapped to blocks and irrigation zones.
  • Trend views that show direction of travel, not just a single snapshot, so decisions can be made early.

The insights layer

Imagery is the input. The report is the product.

Flying a site is the easy part. What owners need is a consistent, readable account of what changed, what is failing and what to do next.

Branded reporting

Each delivery arrives as a clean, branded PDF report: site overview, what changed, findings ranked by severity, annotated imagery and a short set of recommended actions. Written to be read by an operations manager, not only a GIS specialist.

Consistent updates

Monitoring engagements run on a fixed cadence with the same flight plan, the same outputs and the same report structure every cycle. Comparability is the point — you see movement, not a new format each time.

Data you can reuse

Alongside the report you receive the underlying layers: orthomosaics, elevation models, point clouds, thermal sets and tagged findings, in formats that open in the GIS, CAD and asset systems you already run.

Clear scope and traceability

Every engagement records what was flown, when, at what resolution and to what accuracy. Raw capture is retained so any finding can be traced back to the original image.
