Norman Moyo

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Norman Moyo is the Co-Founder and CEO of GridAfrica, a leader in renewable energy and technological innovation across Africa. With an extensive career spanning banking, telecommunications, and energy, he has held executive roles across Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, Zambia, and Bahrain. He began his career at Standard Chartered Bank before transitioning into the telecommunications sector, where he rose to key leadership positions, including Chief Marketing Officer at Celtel Nigeria and CEO of Helios Towers Tanzania.

Norman has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the GTB Global Top 40 World Telecom Leaders Under 40 (2011) and two Titans of Influence awards (2017). In April 2023, he was named CEO of the Year at the Solar Quarter Awards.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Norman serves as the Chairperson of SAPVIA (Solar Association of South Africa) and is a Lecturer at Stellenbosch Business School. He is also the author of Rumble in The Jungle: Leadership from an African Perspective, offering insights into leadership within the African business environment.
