Solar Inspections Powered by Averroes AI

GridAerial has partnered with Averroes AI to bring AI-driven solar inspection to operators across Southern and East Africa.

To prove the workflow end to end, we flew a test inspection over a rooftop solar installation in Zimbabwe. Our operator partner captured thermal, wide and zoom imagery at 16 points across the site, and Averroes turned it into a full inspection report.

The report maps every anomaly to an exact panel location, rates its severity, logs the temperature readings and site conditions at the time of capture, and gives a recommended action for each one. At this site, all 11 issues were traced to soiling, so a maintenance crew knows exactly where to go and what to fix.

For solar operators, that means faster inspections, clear defect mapping and data that drives maintenance decisions, without the time and cost of manual checks.
